Wills, Trusts & Estates Prof Blog Notes This Blog

Professor Gerry Beyer, of Texas Tech University School of Law, who moderates the "Wills, Trusts & Estates Prof Blog" has noted, in a posting on September 5, 2006, my recent opening of this blog, as follows:

Pennsylvania Blog Started

Neil E. Hendershot of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania has just started his blog called the PA Elder, Estate & Fiduciary Law Blog.

Here is Neil's description of his blog:

A blog established by a practicing & teaching lawyer in Pennsylvania for the benefit of law students, consumers, & professionals interested in legal developments affecting Elder Law, Estate & Personal Planning, Fiduciary Administrations (by agents under POA, custodians, guardians, & trustees) or Orphans' Court litigation in this Commonwealth, with reference to trends nationally.
Professor Beyer indicated to me in an email message that he would arrange for a cross-referencing link to be placed on the WT&E Prof Blog side banner that would lead interested readers to this blog in the future.

Another lawyer, Larry Stratton of the law firm Hausman & Sosa, LLP
, who writes the blog "Planner's Thoughts" about estate planning in California, already posted a link to this blog.

I would appreciate any comments or contributions by email to me at: neh@goldbergkatzman.com or HendershotNE@gmail.com.

UPDATES:

09/19/06
: The "Rule of Law" blog, authored by Attorney Stanley Rule, focused on "British Columbia Wills, Trusts and Estates Law, Elder Law and Estate Litigation", also now carries a link to this blog. On September 23, 2006, Stanley posted this comment: "I have added three more estate planning blogs to my sidebar. Neil Hendershot, an experienced lawyer in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has gotten off to a great start with his PA Elder, Estate & Fiduciary Law Blog, with frequent, interesting posts."

10/05/06:
Joel A. Schoenmeyer, Attorney, author of the "Death and Taxes" Blog, posted a message here on October 5th, as follows: "Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based attorney and teacher Neil E. Hendershot has started the PA Elder, Estate & Fiduciary Law Blog -- you can find it here. Welcome to the blogosphere!" Joel also posted a link on his site.

10/22/06: I noted today that the Wills, Trusts & Estates Prof Blog -- in my view the most prominent of estate & elder law blogs nationally -- did indeed add a link to PA EE&F Law Blog on its left sidebar. I expanded the purpose statement recited previously by Professor Beyer, given the subject matter that I have posted.
